We admit that the game graphics is now better than the PSX version. Besides that, if we compared with Revelation: Persona, the map graphic will far better. You look and control Tatsuya when he explores, so the 1st person view will be unavailable in the future (which make you to control Tatsuya easier). The Tatsuya move is now better. It conclude that the great graphic is make the fans happy.
About Persona 2 music, the opening song is change a lot. Because the PSX version opening song its just an instrument song. In battle phase, you will use Persona for make bigger damage. But Persona power will decrease over time, so you should use Velvet room to doing fusion. Persona that combined from fusion will have larger power than you owned before.
Persona 2 PSP: Encounter Rate & Tarot Card
Like Atlus other games, encounter rate can make some gamers become stress. You must do battle because you can only get tarot card which needed for fusion, and from negotiating with demon. Fortunately, in PSP version, you can look demon “mood” like in Revelation Persona. So you can choose the right reaction and fulfill what are needed before getting tarot card from that demon.
If you failed negotiate with the demon, it can attack you back or maybe just run away. You can also do combine attacks and it will show new animation about the characters that do combine attacks.
One thing that Atlus should do is translate this game into English! And VGamerNews conclude that Persona 2 PSP gets many improvements from the older version (PSX Version) makes this game become better, but its encounter rate still make some gamers tired.
