In the other hand, adding Kratos in Mortal Kombat is a marketing strategy. But, Asmussen not look from that side. Asmussen thinks that it is a pleasure, great honour. Because he is created Kratos and become the one from a game that makes him inspired to make Kratos.
“Mortal Kombat give a big influence to me. I renembered when I saw it on arcade. I feel like ‘Look what was he do with that people! When I can play this game at home?’ And then I am starting to pass Mortal Monday, the official release when the game released for SNES and Genesis. From that time, I am still become a poor school student. But I am mark my calendar with two reasons: I cannot buy it so I should order on next one month in game shop. And September 13, 1993 is my 21 birthday! I am not celebrating my birthday in bar, I just sit with my friends to play Mortal Kombat everyday.”
